I support the nice team of the library of my Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning as student assistant for more than 6 semesters. In doing so, I support the students and institute staff in their research and manage the loan at the reception. The much more exciting part of the work, however, concerns the evaluation of the approximately 100 current architecture journals whose most recent editions are to be read in order to incorporate the individual articles into the library’s own search engine. So I am by the regular reading of Bauwelt, Detail, Arch +, Domus, Baumeister, DBZ, Architectural Review, Hochparterre, wettbewerbe aktuell, etc. always on the latest state of architectural debate and the building environment. In addition, I take advantage of the proximity to the ~ 30,000 volume book inventory of the faculty.
